DIY-Recycle, Reuse, Redecorate your Old Scarves



A scarf can be the most ideal accessory to pull together clothing. Much more than just a way to keep your neck warm, a scarf can make all the distinction between just dressed in outfits and dressed in a stunning collection. Scarves are available in a wide range of fabrics and in every shade and design possible. Chances are you have several scarves that are currently residing in your wardrobe or are packed in a cabinet. Shake the dirt off and reuse them in one of these fun methods.

Wear as a Top: If your scarf is extensive and lengthy enough, you can convert it into a lovely summer top. Basically lay it out on a bed and then flip it in 50 percent to make a huge triangular. Carry it around your front side and under your underarms. Knot it well in the center of your back. If you are concerned about a wardrobe malfunction, you can use a strapless bra or tank top underneath.
The Pillowcase: Two scarves could be stitched together or just use any soft silk that you will discover for the back to make wonderful soft silk pillowcases. Give your old throw pillows a new look using old scarves.

Head Wrap: Scarves make very fun and funky hair accessory. You can cover it around your head kerchief style or cover it around your ponytail holder. By folding the scarf over and over until you have a dense rectangular form shape tube, you can use it as a headscarf.
